The EnviroLeaders teach lessons on the most relevant, current environmental issues. These range from Recycling to Global Warming. Air Pollution is a favorite lesson among both the elementary and high school students; with hands-on, interactive activities, the students discuss issues that they deal with on a daily basis while living in Salt Lake City. By the end of the class, these 2nd- and 3rd-graders are ready to bike and skateboard their way to school every day!
The EnviroLeaders have led an incredible first session in both Mountain View and Rose Park Elementary Schools! Throughout this first session, they have served as role models and mentors, creating bonds with the students they teach. They have learned essential skills required in teaching and mentoring - and of course about the environment!
